Affiliate marketing is one of the main Christian Business Opportunities on the Internet. The way that affiliate marketing works is that you develop traffic on your blog by writing useful articles. As you build a steady stream of readers you can offer them products that you recommend. There are a wealth of products that you can offer on your site and when a sale is made you will earn a commission. Commissions are often between 4 and 10 percent or higher. You don’t have to handle or ship any products. You just put the link on your site and if people purchase a product from your link you make the commission.
Affiliate Programs
There are a lot of great affiliate programs available. ChristianBook.com has an affiliate program. Amazon.com also has an affiliate program. There is a site called Commission Junction that handles the affiliate marketing for a lot of major companies like Apple and Dell. Link Junction also carries a lot of big companies. If you go to the Christian Book Club Offers page you will see links to ChristianBooks.com and Amazon.com. If you were to buy a book from either of those links I would make 4 to 10 percent. Niche sites provide another Online Christian Business Opportunity. A niche site is a site that you create and then by using (SEO) Search Engine Optimization you drive traffic to your blog. Then by incorporating Google Adsense or some other click type ad program you can make money every time someone clicks on one of your ads. A lot of people are making money on the Internet by using niche sites. To create your ownniche sites I would encourage you to use a web host like Good News Domains. With Good News Domains you can host 25 blogs for the price of 1. This will allow you to create niche sites with no added costs. Your site traffic will come as a result of Google searches so you won’t need a domain name either.
There are three techniques you will need to understand in order to create niche sites. You will need to understand how keywords work, how Adsense works, and how to use your web host to start multiple sites. There are three article I will recommend you to read. It is very important that as you consider which Christian Business Opportunity you choose, that you do something you enjoy. An online business takes a lot of work, and the ideas that we have discussed require writing articles that people will want to read. If your blog doesn’t provide useful information you won’t be able to develop traffic. If you don’t have traffic you really can’t monetize (make money from) your site. If you enjoy what you are writing about it will be easy to keep fresh and useful information on your site. One of the ways that you increase traffic to your site is by having articles published on the Internet. You write articles that are different than the ones on your blog and you use an Internet publisher to get those articles on as many sites as you can.
